American Chronic Pain Association
Description:
In the website we found, The American Chronic Pain Association, they include an A-Z conditions list that gives a description of the specific condition you may have. It also shows what kind of resources you can access to get the help you may need. There's also a tab that shows clinical trials that support people when they're in therapy and go through chemo. The American Chronic Pain Association’s mission is to support and educate individuals about chronic pain and what they can do to help. It also helps raise awareness in the healthcare community, policymakers, and the public at large about issues of living with chronic pain.
Remarks:
This website gives good information about treatments for all the conditions they may have. They support families when their loved ones are living with chronic pain. We like that they have a list of what other kinds of chronic pain conditions, it gives us a sense that these are conditions are more severe than what people may assume.
Room for Improvement:
Although they had good resources a bit of improvement they could do is add more information on the main page and explain the help they offer. This source needs to add more information on where they retrieved their sources from, such as if they have clinical trials, we would like to know more on where they come from when it was done, and the results of that trial.

Silver Hill Hospital
Description :
This is a website that gives information on the Silver Hill Hospital Chronic Pain Recovery Center for adults and adolescents. This website includes centers of expertise (ex: Musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic syndromes, chronic pain syndromes, and any other chronic pain disorders), its staff, a community page (blog posts, events, videos, and news), what
they’re about, a section to support them, and resources. This facility claims that their resources are dedicated to their patient's treatment, that all patients who go there are treated with dignity and respect, and receive the level of care their patients need whenever they may need it. Surveys show that the majority of patients who have completed the program reported a reduction in pain.
Treatment is generally covered by health insurance.
Remarks :
This website is straightforward and gives you clear information on what they intend to do for their patients. We feel as if this website is more personal rather than most websites for
chronic pain. It shows pictures of their treatment team and has full bios of the staff which gives you more of a sense who is going to be helping you throughout your treatment. We like that this facility is covered by most healthcare providers, it makes it easier for people to get their treatment and not have to worry about expenses in the long run.
Room for Improvement :
One suggestion would be having more locations for their recovery
centers. Another suggestion could be having real-life patients give their story and journey towards recovery from chronic pain, it could give us a sense of what it’s like to receive
treatment.
